□*: on display, in the making, created and lost, hidden, fictional, non-existent. Here, artists' playgrounds of sorts are formed: from sandboxes they sometimes turn into boxing rings and vice versa. But the rules are quite clear. The □ encounters set the stage for creativity, not only expressing individuality through the □ performance, but also nurturing/developing the perception of the other/other □.
The exhibition reflects on the artists' various relationships - with the community, with their work, with the structures of the political system, with the passage of time, with everyday life. "□ is an opportunity for artists from different positions in the art field to meet, to create a temporary medium where ideas can be exchanged, first and foremost with each other.
The recurring meetings of the participants, which took place on Wednesdays prior to the exhibition, are open to the public and continue in the gallery space. During the exhibition, on all Wednesdays in April at 6pm, artists (professional, student, amateur) are invited to bring their □, show, discuss and debate them during the meetings.
